T10 League 2018 team fixtures announced
ICC recognized, T10 cricket league - season II announced its team fixtures a few days ago. Led by Kerala Kings and Punjabi Legends – the Champions and Runners-up teams of the first T10 League.
Eight teams – Kerala Kings, Punjab Legends, Maratha Arabians, Bengal Tigers, The Karachians, Rajputs, Northern Warriors and Pakhtoons – have been drawn in to two groups to fight it out in the 2nd Season of T10 League from November 23 to December 2 – the UAE National Day.
Declared a year ago by T10 Sports Management to popularise the game of cricket in its most brief arrangement – that completes in less than an hour in which 2 teams battle out in 10 overs – or just 60 balls – thrilling the crowd.
Arrangement for the Second Season of the T10 League begins following the runaway accomplishment with sold-out stadium amid all the four long periods of the first Season that drew stadium full of crowd at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium and watched by cheering fans over the GCC, South Asia and parts of the African mainland where cricket is a well-known game.
Various Bollywood and Lollywood superstars from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will add merry flavor to the ten-day competition to be observed live in excess of 20 nations over the world.
The gala event happens at the backdrop of the recent recognition by the International Cricket Council (ICC) the global governing body of cricket – that makes it the world's first ten-over format league.
This year, two teams – The Karachians and Northern Warriors – have been added to the list of the prior six teams. This will expand and grow fan base of the T10 League.
“The T10 League is gaining ground with the formal recognition of the International Cricket Council and the interest shown by the stakeholders that encouraged us to add two new teams to the league,” Nawab Shaji Ul Mulk, Chairman of T10 League and T10 Sports Management, said.
“Today’s Team Draw is a testimony to the growing popularity of not only the T10 League – but also the game of cricket – which could now be played and in less than 90 minutes. I am pleased to announce the Team Draw led by last year’s Champions Kerala Kings and Runners-Up Punjabi Legends.
“This year’s T10 League will help expand and popularise the game of cricket further. We see this as a growing movement and I urge all to join this and help take the game further.”
The Team Grouping – an important part of the tournament – will decide which team will play against which ones in the league and then develop their winning strategies. The Team Draw will be followed by a Player’s Draw taking place a few weeks’ later that will see the world’s top cricketers being selected by the eight teams – from a pool of cricketing legends.

The T10 League is live telecast in the GCC, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the United Kingdom and the United States – followed by millions of fans – watching the actions of some of the most popular cricket stars, such as Shane Watson, Shahid Afridi, Eoin Morgan, Rashid Khan, Shoaib Malik, Sunil Narine, Darren Sammy, among many others.
The T10 Cricket League tickets will be on sale closer to the tournament start. Last year, you could buy T10 cricket league tickets online at Q-tickets. Tickets were also made available at the following retail outlets – branches of UAE Exchange, Al Fardan Exchange, Al Ghurair Exchange, Leopards Courier, and Karachi Darbar.
