UAM Wins 16 Gold Medals at UAE Muay Thai Championship
The UAE Youth Open Muay Thai Championship ended successfully after three days of intense competition at the Space 42 Arena in Al Raha Beach, Abu Dhabi.
Hosted by the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation, the competition featured 551 athletes from 47 different clubs.
Sorayot Chasombat, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the UAE, and Mustafa Jabbar Alak, President of the Iraqi Muay Thai Federation, attended the last day of the championship.
Tariq Mohammed Al Muhairi and Ali Khouri, who are on the board of the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation, were present, as well as Mousa Jaber, the Arab Muay Thai Federation's Assistant Secretary-General.
Team UAM was the highest achiever, obtaining an impressive 16 gold medals and five silver medals. Abu Dhabi Muay Thai achieved 28 medals in total, consisting of 14 gold, six silver, and eight bronze medals.
TK MMA took third place by winning eight gold, five silver, and two bronze medals, making their total medal count reach 15.
The tournament is included in the Federation's long-term plan to promote Muay Thai, increase participation in contests, and offer young athletes beneficial chances to enhance their abilities over the summer.
These initiatives are in line with the Federation's dedication to finding up-and-coming talents and enhancing national teams with talented athletes from different age categories.

The championship's success meets the players and clubs' aspirations, aiding our ambitious goal to grow the sport and enhance national teams with skilled athletes in all categories and weight classes.
