Salik, the toll gate operator in Dubai, has denied the allegation of promising a monthly income of Dh35,600 through investing in its shares, labeling it as fraudulent.

The company listed in Dubai stated that there is an increase in deceptive investment offers in Salik. Customers were instructed by the toll operator to obtain all information from its official channels.

There is a fraudulent website circulating featuring the image of Salik's CEO Ibrahim Al Haddad. The website has announced that the CEO has recently finalized a deal with the government to enable all individuals to invest in Salik stocks via its latest trading platform.

It states that there is a special chance to make $9,700 (around Dh35,600) per month by investing at least $250 (around Dh917) in Salik shares.

The individuals are requested to provide their name, email address, and UAE mobile phone number on the website.
Salik shares are listed on the Dubai Financial Market and are traded in UAE dirhams, not dollars as stated on the website. Friday saw the toll gate operator's shares end at Dh3.380 per share, marking a 0.595 percent increase. Salik is highly desired as its business model necessitates minimal capital investments.

Salik urged its customers and investors to be wary of fraudulent websites, emails, and social media scams that misuse the company's name.
According to the statement, there has been an increase in phishing messages recently, which falsely offer investment opportunities in Salik and share unsafe links for recharging accounts and buying tags.

It is also recommended to avoid clicking on questionable links or pop-up ads and instead, visit Salik's official website and communication channels for up-to-date security updates, the statement noted.

Salik recently revised its terms and conditions for drivers and customers, setting a maximum annual fine of DH10,000 per vehicle.

It was mentioned that under the recently issued terms, the highest total fines that can be placed on a single vehicle for breaking the Salik tolling system rules in a particular calendar year must not go beyond Dh10,000 from January 1 to December 31.
