UAE Lottery: Ticket price, play guide, jackpot explained
After some wait of around 4 months from when it was announced, the UAE Lottery has now officially launched. Its tickets are available for purchase on the lottery official website www.theuaelottery.ae. The activity is managed by The Game LLC and it is the first and only regulated lottery activity in the UAE.
Tickets will be sold at Dh50 and the prize is pegged at a whopping Dh 100 million worth jackpots. Here is how the games are played, game prizes, evidence about the desirability of winning, and all your questions are answered.
How many games can participants play?
At present, the lottery offers two games:

How do participants play ‘Lucky Day’?

The cost of any entry into ‘Lucky Day’ is Dh 50. The participants have the options of picking six numbers from the section ‘Days’ and one from ‘Look year’.

In case they have selected all of the numbers which wre drawn on the draw, then the winner is the one who has selected that number.

The individuals that are able to get all six numbers that were contained in the Days section win the second price.

If six numbers from the ‘Days’ section and one number from the ‘Months’ section match, it is the third prize winning condition.

If the above conditions have not been met and five numbers from the ‘Days’ are matched and four and one from my months, this condition will win the fourth price.

The conditions of winning this prize include anything within the following scenarios. Match three numbers from the days section and one from the months. Match two from the days and one number from the months etc.

What is a ‘Lucky Chance’?
When a ticket is purchased, the system creates a corresponding ‘Lucky Chance ID’. There will also be a ‘Lucky Chance’ which will be drawn during the live draw for Lucky Day. For the first draw set for December 14, seven ‘Lucky Chance IDs’ will win an additional Dh100,000 each.
What happens if there is more than one jackpot winner?
The prize will be divided into equal portions and shared with all winning ticket holders.
What is the frequency of the draw?
The live draw will happen ever second Saturday at the same time which is 8:30 PM in UAE.
When can participants buy the tickets?
Eligible participants can register for the giveaway from 2200 hours on the date of the draw until 1900 hours on the Saturday before the next draw. Lucky Day ticket holders, on the other hand, are barred from making ticket sales between 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM on a day of LIVE drawing.
Can one entry claim multiple wins?
In a draw series, each entry has the chance to win a prize only once. In case of multiple prizes for the same winner, they will only be able to claim the highest award.
What are scratch cards?
Through a scratch card system, participants stand a chance to win a price of up to Dh1 million. The lowest rate for these cards is Dh5 which offers a potential win amount of up to Dh50,000. There are also cards worth Dh10 where the highest priced card is Dh100,000 and for the Dh20 cards, the prize amount is Dh300,000. A total of Dh50 cards are available with a win of Dh1 million.
