Surf Abu Dhabi Joins 2025 World Surf League
The World Surf League (WSL) has officially announced Surf Abu Dhabi, situated on Hudayriyat Island in Abu Dhabi, as a new venue for the 2025 Championship Tour (CT). This exciting development adds a prestigious stop to the global surfing circuit. Additionally, Surf Abu Dhabi will also feature as the third stop on the 2024 WSL Longboard Tour, highlighting its growing significance in the surfing world.
Surf Abu Dhabi, a revolutionary wave facility managed by Modon Holding, boasts cutting-edge wave technology from the Kelly Slater Wave Company (KSWC). This state-of-the-art facility offers surfers an unparalleled experience with the most advanced wave generation technology available. The collaboration with KSWC ensures that Surf Abu Dhabi delivers high-quality, consistent waves, providing an exceptional surfing environment that caters to enthusiasts of all skill levels.

The 2025 CT competitions schedule will be announced after the Lexus WSL Finals. Surf Abu Dhabi will be added to the list of famous venues like Banzai Pipeline, Snapper Rocks, and Cloudbreak.
