Khashoggi death case international commission to investigate it.

The children of the missing Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi called for the formation of an independent and impartial committee of international nature to investigate the truth about the death of their father after he entered the headquarters of his consulate in Istanbul recently.

The Anatolia news agency quoted a statement by the Khashoggi family as saying: "We are following with sadness and concern the conflicting news about the fate of our father after losing contact with him two weeks ago when he disappeared after entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul."

"Our family is shocked and the strong moral and legal responsibility that our father (Khashoggi) planted in us obliges us to call for the formation of an independent and impartial international commission to investigate the circumstances of his death."

Statement from the #Khashoggi family reads in part: "The strong moral and legal responsibility which our father instilled in us obliges us to call for the establishment of an independent and impartial international commission to inquire into the circumstances of his death."

Khashoggi disappeared after entering the headquarters of his consulate in Istanbul on October 2, and contact is still missing today.
