Dubai Garden Glow, one of the UAE’s most adored family tourism sites, has closed its doors for good after completing the milestone 10 seasons.

The park has confirmed a new subtle update will relaunch at a different location in the near future, including a new concept that “will change the experience for everyone.”

This update was posted on the park’s website; however, no date has been posted indicating when the park will be open again.

Ever since its illuminated sculptures were set up at Zabeel Park in 2015, Garden Glow has been a favourite among tourists and residents because of its illuminated features. With life-sized animatronic dinosaurs, eco-themed art installations crafted from recycled products, Dubai now flaunts the title of being home to the world's largest glow in the dark garden. It is a blend of creativity, sustainability, and entertainment all brought into one experience.

The closure will occur with Zabeel Park preparing itself for a large transformation. Under the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, the emirate will begin construction for Therme Dubai – the region's first wellbeing resort and interactive park developed by the Therme Group.

Under the decree by Dubai's Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan, Dubai Therme is set in motion for the development towards sustainable wellness and improving quality of life, wellbeing, and active lifestyle. The resort is expected to be completed by 2028 with an investment of approximately Dh2 billion. The impressive structure will cover 500,000 sq. ft with a height of 100 metres. It will include thermal pools, 15 waterslides, three waterfalls, a Michelin-starred restaurant, and the world’s largest indoor botanical garden which hosts over 200 species of plants.
