Emirati journalist Habib Yousuf Abdallah Al Sayegh dies
He used to write daily opinion pieces in Arabic newspapers in the country.
Habib Yousuf Abdallah Al Sayegh, the chairman of the Emirates Writers Union and Secretary-General of the Arab Writers Union, passed away on Tuesday.
Al Sayegh, also a poet, was born in 1955 in Abu Dhabi and started working as a journalist with a bachelor's degree in philosophy in 1977. He obtained a master's degree in English, Arabic, and Translation in 1998 from London.
He used to write daily opinion pieces in Arabic newspapers in the country.
