The Dubai Police are actively enforcing laws on maritime violations by imposing fines of up to Dh5,000 on jet ski owners who break regulations. In the last two months, they have recorded a considerable amount of offenses, with jet skis accounting for 160 violations. This increase in penalties is a component of a larger initiative to improve safety and guarantee adherence to maritime regulations in the waters of Dubai.

The authorities have documented 52 offenses related to different watercraft in addition to the jet ski violations. These crimes underscore the continuous difficulties in upholding safety and control in the bustling waters of Dubai, which draw in residents and tourists alike for different recreational purposes. The fines and enforcement actions aim to discourage irresponsible conduct and encourage responsible utilization of maritime equipment.

Officials have stressed the significance of following safety rules and regulations to avoid accidents and guarantee the safety of every individual on waterways. The Dubai Police oversee marine activities closely, utilizing advanced technologies and stepped-up patrols to enforce regulations. This proactive approach aims to ensure that both individuals and the environment are protected, allowing everyone to safely and responsibly enjoy Dubai's beautiful waters.

The infractions consist of using jet skis with outdated licenses, going into off-limits areas like swimming zones and hotel beaches, not following specified time limits, neglecting to wear life jackets, minors operating boats for leisure, and overloading the boats.

In a recent press release, Brigadier Dr. Hassan Suhail, who is the Director of the Port Police Station, discussed the rising amount of infractions committed by jet ski operators in different Dubai beach locations. The Dubai Police have implemented strict measures in response to these violations to protect the safety and security of beachgoers and maritime enthusiasts.

The harshest punishment, which is a fine of up to Dh5,000, is specifically for individuals who operate jet skis carelessly in forbidden zones within the emirate. This substantial fine highlights the necessity of adhering to specified areas to avoid mishaps and safeguard the surroundings. The fines enforced by Dubai Police are meant to prevent violations and encourage responsible use of jet skis, guaranteeing a safe and enjoyable time for all. Dr. Suhail's comment acts as a reminder of how crucial it is to follow maritime rules for keeping Dubai's lively beaches orderly and safe.

Brig. Suhail also emphasized the significance of avoiding overloading boats in order to guarantee the safety and well-being of individuals on board. He pointed out that not wearing the necessary safety gear on a boat results in a fine of Dh3,000.
