Dubai In the 80s
An uncommon video of Dubai in the mid 1980s has reemerged! The Dubai promotion video includes the hit melody Back in Dubai, by The Establishments and Sal Davies, playing out of sight. What's more, we can't get enough of it!
The video was created by the UAE Chess Federation to advance the 27th World Chess Olympiad in 1986. The Back to Dubai video shows great shots of the city, including the Deira Clock Tower. It additionally shows looks at sand ridge slamming and the antiquated custom of falconry.
One thing is for sure - we scarcely perceive the city!
