Digital Dubai Launches Major Initiative to Enhance Data Quality and AI Integration Across Government Entities

Digital Dubai has introduced a new initiative to enhance government operations through digital data and artificial intelligence by improving data standards in terms of quality, accessibility, and governance.    

Aim of this project:

This project aims to create a prominent platform for government organizations to share experiences and gain knowledge on best practices in order to improve the data quality on the Dubai Pulse platform. This platform aids in making well-informed decisions among senior leaders and throughout the wider government environment in the emirate.

Covered Areas:

The program consists of various workshops centered on data and artificial intelligence, emphasizing the digital maturity strategy established by Digital Dubai. This policy covers four main areas: digital experiences, data management, cybersecurity, and information technology governance.

The initial stage of the project includes 11 government organizations such as Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Land Department, Dubai Customs, General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, RTA, DEWA, Department of Economy and Tourism, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Courts, and Dubai Police. Additional entities will participate in the upcoming phase.

This project expands on our current partnership with government agencies in Dubai. We are dedicated to reaching peak utilization, improving efficiency and effectiveness, and advancing government integration.

The objective of Dubai Data & Statistics Establishment is to offer a variety of data on its integrated platform, "Dubai Pulse," which contains approximately 1,237 open and shared data systems from 70 entities. The platform caters to a range of stakeholders, such as investors, researchers, and entrepreneurs.

The initiative uses a practical approach by first defining data quality, creating measurement tools, suggesting improvement techniques, and establishing efficient management systems. It also highlights the best practices implemented by each participating organization to reach common objectives.
